Mexico State University (NMSU; Las Cruces, NM) and the Fred Hutchinson
Cancer Research Center (FHCRC; Seattle, WA)
was awarded
a $10 million National Cancer Institute grant to support a partnership
between these two institutions. The partnership's
major objective
is to establish cancer research at NMSU and to increase the number of
minorities involved in cancer research.
