REACH Core Co-Investigator, Outreach Core Co-Investigator
Dr. Ernesto Moralez is an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at NMSU. His research interests include identifying potential moderators and mediators that predict mental health and cancer screening behaviors as well as the impact of illness complexity on decision-making practices.
Dr. Moralez joined the PACR team as an NMSU graduate student in 2008 and was a summer intern at Fred Hutch. Now he is a co-investigator in both the REACH and Outreach Cores where his primary focus is overseeing the Health Disparities Field Experience for graduate students.
Dr. Moralez earned his Ph.D. in health and behavioral sciences from the University of Colorado Denver.
