Bio:
After a short retirement Sylvia decided to join the work force again and has joined our U54 team as our fiscal specialist. She previously worked at NMSU for 29 years within the Biology Department (and others) for 14 years. Sylvia has extensive experience in financial management of grant budgets, purchasing, and NMSU systems. She acquired her knowledge working in various departments prior to retirement from the Department of Biology.
She is happy to return and help to facilitate the program in anything fiscal that the staff and students might need her assistance in.
Sylvia got her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the College of Business at New Mexico State University with a minor in Spanish.
